Greenhouse Gas and Climate Change Impacts

SNC-Lavalin Environment (SLE) knows the importance of addressing climate change. To play its part, it incorporates climate change solutions into its projects worldwide. In this context, our company has developed an action plan that incorporates the evaluation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into our projects. This approach adds value to the services we can provide and contributes to our clients’ strategic positioning. SLE is actively in contact with industry and government representatives and participates in seminars on climate change including the provisions for the Kyoto Protocol’s flexible mechanisms. Our international network also promotes the creation of synergies between partners and clients, increasing business opportunities within the climate change context.
