Projects Contacts

Valleyfield Plant Expansion Project

Canadian Electrolytic Zinc Ltd. (CEZinc) awarded us the contract to perform cost estimates, front-end, basic and detailed engineering, as well as construction management assistance to increase the production capacity of their Valleyfield Plant from 230,000 to 250,000 tpa.Services: Basic and Detailed Engineering

Country : Canada

Gamsberg Zinc Project

The project consisted of a leach area for a greenfield zinc refinery at the existing Gamsberg Mine in South Africa.   The owner, Anglo American Corporation, was considering the production of refined zinc from the Gamsberg concentrate.Services: Feasibility

Country : South Africa

Zinc Plant Modernization and Expansion Project

We carried out both the Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies,  and were subesquently awarded a contract by Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. (HBM&S) to provide basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement and construction management for the brownfield expansion of its zinc plant in Flin Flon, Manitoba by 15% to 114,000 tpa cast metal.Services: Pre-Feasibility, Feasibility, EPCM

Country : Canada

Skorpion Zinc Project

We were awarded a joint venture contract to complete a 150,000 tpa zinc mine using a new leach technology followed by SX/EW and refining.  Located in a remote area of the Namibian desert, the project was finished in 2002 on budget and schedule with more than six million person hours without a single lost-time accident.  The mine is expected to contribute 4% to Namibia's GDP over its 15 year mine life.Services: EPCM
