GreenField Ethanol
The ethanol distillery plant includes all requisite process, utilities and offsite equipment for converting the feedstock (No. 2 yellow dent corn) into anhydrous fuel ethanol, to be sold to local refineries. The ethanol will be used as an oxygenate in gasoline as a means of producing environmentally cleaner fuels. Client: GreenField Ethanol

ATK (for the US Army): Nitric/Sulphuric Acid Concentration (NAC/SAC) Facility
The sprawling Radford, Virginia US Army facility is the setting for the new 134 T/d 98% NAC and 80 T/d 100% SAC facility. Initially, SNC-Lavalin conducted the front-end engineering design (FEED) to develop an engineering, procurement, construct (EPC) price. This role expanded to a lump sum EPC contract to replace the existing NAC/SAC facility. SNC-Lavalin's mandate comprised all engineering, procurement, and construction including pre-cast concrete process building, site preparation and demolition, and off-site Piping and Utilities.
