Astoria I & II

The Astoria Energy project involves the design and construction of a 500-megawatt natural gas-fired power plant in the Astoria section of Queens, New York. Astoria Energy sells energy and capacity from this facility to Con Edison and into the NYISO market.

McGill University Health Centre

The McGill University Health Centre is a partnership agreement between the MUHC and the McGill Health Infrastructure Group (MHIG), composed of SNC-Lavalin and Innisfree Ltd. Under this 34-year public-private partnership, the MHIG will design, build, finance and maintain the MUHC's new Glen Campus. Construction is underway and should be completed in the fall of 2014. Once completed, MHIG will maintain the campus for the next 30 years.

Canada Line

In 2005, InTransit BC (partly owned by SNC-Lavalin) was contracted by CLCO and TransLink for the delivery of the Canada Line through a 35-year design-build-finance-operate public private partnership (P3). InTransit BC was the 2009 recipient of the Gold Award for Infrastructure from the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships.

Montreal Acoustic Concert Hall

This project was executed by SNC-Lavalin and included design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance for a new concert hall for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. The 2,100-seat concert hall is located in downtown Montreal.

407 Electronic Toll Road

The world's first all-electronic, barrier-free toll highway stretching 108 km from Burlington to Pickering, Ontario. 407 ETR has won several local and international awards, recognizing its expertise, dedication and outstanding achievements in several areas, including customer service and community involvement. SNC-Lavalin Capital has been selected by Infrastructure Ontario to extend Highway 407.

Rayalseema

This project covers a 188-km stretch of road. Under a 30-year concession awarded by the National Highways Authority of India, REPL will augment the existing two-lane stretch to four lanes and will operate the project on a Build, Operate and Transfer toll basis. This stretch, once completed, will minimize the transit time between Chennai and Mumbai.

Altalink

AltaLink, L.P. is one of Canada's largest transmission companies. Based in Alberta, it is responsible for the maintenance and operation of approximately 12,000 km of transmission lines and 280 substations in Alberta. AltaLink is a fully-owned subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin.

Malta International Airport

SNC-Lavalin was granted a technical services agreement to assist the Malta International Airport in the development of its infrastructure and cargo business, and the implementation of a smooth transportation system for passengers travelling between the airport and cruise ships. The airport currently serves about 3 million passengers a year and employs approximately 450 people. SNC-Lavalin Capital holds a 15.5 % equity stake.
