From December 7 to 8, SNC-Lavalin employees participated in the Tremblant 24h of skiing. The event took place at Mont-Tremblant, in Quebec, Canada, where teams of six to 12 members relayed each other down the mountain over a 24-hour period. The event raised a total of $2,005,653 for children's causes at various local hospitals. Of the 204 teams that participated, SNC-Lavalin finished 38th. The team completed 95 runs in just 24 hours and raised $8,005 for the event. "I want to thank everyone who supported our team," said Mark Osterman, Vice-President, Environment and Sustainable Development. "I also want to thank the thousands of volunteers who made the event possible. The money we raised will help many sick children, and they are the reason we participate."
