As one of the largest private real estate developments in Qatar, Al Wa’ab City is a thoughtfully planned, medium-density development located within the existing fabric of Doha and the heart of the Al Wa’ab Area.
Developed by Benchmark International, the 1.2 million square-metre development is a mixed-use lifestyle centre that accommodates over 1,200 homes, 100,000 square metres of retail, 200,000 square metres of offices and a hotel enhanced by the highest standards of social infrastructure and green spaces. The Northern District is home to large and medium-sized family villas. Al Wa’ab Central comprises medium-sized contemporary residences and an accessible retail boulevard. The Southern District is a vibrant economic zone combining commercial and residential elements with a grand mall.
We were awarded a 10-year total facilities management contract for the entire project. Prior to taking on these broad operations, maintenance and management responsibilities, we were tasked with comprehensive pre-occupancy services to improve the development’s operability and long-term maintainability, as well as traffic, security, way finding and space optimization studies.
