SNC-Lavalin is pleased to announce that Mr. Graham Punler has been appointed as General Manager for the company’s mining and metallurgy sector in Asia Pacific.
“Graham’s vast knowledge in project delivery will be instrumental in driving the growth of our expanded offering for our clients across the full life-cycle of projects from studies to delivery and sustaining capital works,” said Fritz Venter, Senior Vice-President, Mining & Metallurgy, North America and Australia. “His leadership, management of multidisciplinary teams, and proven experience in delivering global multibillion-dollar EPC projects make him a great asset to our team in Asia Pacific.”
Graham brings with him more than 30 years of international experience in engineering, project management, and strategy development and implementation across multiple sectors. In his previous role, Graham was solely responsible for the delivery of major projects from initial pursuit to post-project evaluation. He holds a strong commitment and focus on ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, safely, with proven success in fast-track project execution.
Located in Perth, Western Australia, Graham will oversee the day-to-day management of operations across Asia Pacific, business development, and the growth of regional operations. His experience in executing projects across mining, infrastructure and oil and gas markets will strengthen our growth objectives in Asia Pacific.
Graham joined SNC-Lavalin in March 2018. He previously worked in Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, for Shell and Worley Parsons. Graham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot - Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
