SNC-Lavalin's new Global Operations model has been implemented in Latin America, following successful launches in the Europe and Middle East/Africa regions.
At the end of 2012, Bob Card, President and CEO, launched an initiative to develop a regional organization in each of the company's five regions: Europe, Middle East/Africa, Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America. Going forward, each region will be structured as a matrix model between the business units, corporate functions and the regional structure.
With this new model, SNC-Lavalin creates a platform to implement its strategic priorities and business approach. It is intended to bring us closer to our clients, improve the way we share internal resources, pool our regional expertise, and develop a more effective local business strategy.
The first Latin America Strategy seminar was held on May 13, in Bogota, Colombia. The event provided a dedicated forum for dialogue and workshops addressing business opportunities, the region's internal organizational structures and the collaborating tools available.
