SNC-Lavalin is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Kentz Pty Ltd, through a joint venture with Petrofac, was awarded a five-year contract to provide telecommunication maintenance support services by Inpex, for the telecommunications systems on Ichthys LNG’s onshore and offshore facilities.
Petrofac-Kentz Joint Venture will provide site and campaign maintenance technicians with engineering support for the telecoms systems offshore, including the Central Processing Facility (CPF) and Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) units as well as onshore LNG processing facilties. The scope of work includes a number of systems across electronic, maritime, meteorological and security systems.

Petrofac-Kentz Joint Venture was formed in 2014 to deliver maintenance and support services to Oil & Gas assets both onshore and offshore. Both organizations complement each other well through their international strengths, local delivery and track record in optimizing maintenance and support execution across LNG plants, pipelines, FPSOs and platform maintenance, shutdown and project services.
