SNC-Lavalin shortlisted for design FEED competition by AWE for Stage 2 of Waitsia Gas Field

SNC-Lavalin is pleased to announce that it has been appointed to provide front-end engineering design (FEED) services in a Design Competition for the development of Stage 2 in the existing Waitsia Gas Field by joint venture partners AWE Limited and Origin Energy Developments Pty Ltd.

SNC-Lavalin’s scope of work includes providing FEED for the design competition for Waitsia Stage 2 facilities, including a gas plant capable of processing 100 TJ/d, CO2 extraction, collection hubs and flow lines to the existing plant located approximately 350km north of Perth in Western Australia.

The front-end engineering design competition will commence immediately and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
