In Canada, naval and marine organizations patrol one of the longest shorelines in the world, navigating rough waters and extreme weather. With limited resources in a vast landscape, it is critical that they minimize time in harbor by maintaining high reliability and availability.
Keeping ships safely in the water requires sophisticated operations and maintenance solutions backed by a skilled organization with rigorously tested infrastructure. Our team provides comprehensive naval and marine in-service support, including engineering design, project management, corrective and preventative maintenance, and logistics support.
We support 25 vessel classes and several payload and shore stations. Currently, we are responsible for the maintenance of more than 70 minor warships and auxiliary vessels. SNC-Lavalin is one of the first Canadian companies to have an integrated ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 management system for project management and the provision of in-service support (ISS) to seagoing vessels.
