SNC-Lavalin Investment oversees SNC-Lavalin's equity participation in infrastructure projects. Its mandate is to develop and manage SNC-Lavalin's investments in companies undertaking concession or build-own-transfer (BOT)-type projects.
To fulfill its mandate, SNC-Lavalin Investment becomes involved at the very beginning of the project's development and management phases, participating in the economic aspects of feasibility studies, negotiating legal agreements (partnerships, purchase agreements, supply agreements, loan agreements), preparing financial models and analyses (with SNC-Lavalin Capital Inc), performing due diligence processes and managing invested assets.
SNC-Lavalin Investment is or has been involved in the following types of investments:
· Toll roads
· Small hydro stations
· Small to mid-sized thermal stations
· Power transmission facilities
· Gas storage facilities
· Airport concessions

· Murraylink (Underground power transmission lines, Australia)
· Raiwind Thermal Plant (117 MW power station, Pakistan)
· Gazmont Power Plant (23 MW biogas power station, Canada)
· West End Dam (4.5 MW hydro station, New York, United States)
· Vatry Europort (Cargo airport, France)
· Malta International Airport (Airport, Malta)
